Small Wool Rug in Indigo Gradient

This small rug was handwoven on a footloom in Momostenango with natural local wool. The warp is cotton, the weft is hand-processed and hand-spun wool. The rug was made with the best white wool available, and has been dyed in a natural indigo vat at Lake Atitlán to achieve this artful gradient effect. The dyers were able to make two very similar gradient pieces.

We think this rug size works great in small areas like in bathrooms, in front of doors, or wherever you'd like to add some warmth both aesthetically and physically for your feet.
