Private Class: Warping your own loom (incl materials) / Contact us to schedule

//This is a one-on-one in-person outdoor weaving class for learning the traditional Maya Kaqchikel warping method held at our studio garden in central Antigua. Spanish, English, and Kaqchikel instruction are possible by the instructors. Please message us via WhatsApp at +502 5191 1991 or email us at hello@kakawdesigns.com to coordinate the date and time. We recommend 9:30am-12:30pm to avoid harsh weather.//

We love one-on-one weaving sessions! This three-hour class includes:

• All materials to warp and make your own small loom to continue weaving.
• Private master weaver instructor (Doña Lidia or Doña Everilda)
• A light snack
• Our Backstrap Weaving Resources List for Beginners in PDF form full of links. The link to download will appear at check-out and will also be automatically sent to you via email.

Please note that all three hours will likely be dedicated to to the warping and setting up of the loom - if you'd like to receive a class on weaving, please let us know to schedule that for another day. We recommend morning instruction to avoid harsh sun and rain.
