Picbil Dress in Indigo

//This is a one-of-a-kind handwoven picbil dress//

What a gorgeous gem this piece is, handwoven with beautiful delicate picbil /pikbil figures in the traditional very thin white cotton and then dyed in a natural indigo vat by hand. This newly-woven dress has a flattering V-neck from the natural seam created by the two panels. Wear the gauze-like beauty as-is or style with a belt. The fringing at the bottom add a nice weight and movement to the garment.

It takes at least one month to weave the two long panels and combine them with hand-stitching to create one dress. Natural indigo is organically grown in El Salvador, and the dyeing was done by Mysa in Antigua. Handmade every step of the way.

This dress was handwoven by the talented Carmelina.

We think this dress fits like US sizes S and M.
