This one-of-a-kind blouse is handwoven by master weavers in Cobán with the delicate picbil (also spelled "pikbil") technique with naturally-dyed cotton threads. Featuring a two-panel design, the blouse has an appealing V-neck created from joining of the two panels, which also done by hadn. The lightweight, gauze-like fabric gives it an airy feel, perfect for dressing up or down.

The traditional picbil motifs woven into the fabric include pacaya leaves and dog paw prints. Each blouse takes 4-6 weeks to complete on a backstrap loom, with all edges finished as clean selvedges—a laborious process mastered by only the most skilled artisans.

This blouse fits like a US size S/M and is made entirely of naturally-dyed cotton.

Measurements:

Width: 26 inches

Length: 22 inches

Material: Naturally-dyed cotton

High Quality Hand Woven Textile

This huipil is truly a work of art. The chocolate brown color is beautiful. Looks great with white jeans. Light weight textile very comfortable on hit days. I’ve gotten many compliments.
