One-on-one Tote Embroidery with Claribel (in-person) / Email us to schedule
//This is a one-on-one in-person outdoor weaving class held at our studio garden in central Antigua. Instruction is in Spanish. If you need English interpretation, please let us know - we can arrange this for an additional fee. COVID safety protocols are observed and the exact address will be shared upon registering. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or write to our WhatsApp at +502 5191 1991 to coordinate the date and time.//
Claribel is our friend from Sumpango, a town known for beautiful traditional neckline embroidery full of flowers. This 2-hour class includes all the materials to embroider your own canvas tote bag and a PDF guide with instruction on each of the traditional stitches for neckline embroidery, as seen in the images.
The canvas tote made by Creamos is already stenciled by Claribel for easy embroidery, and it looks great with the naturally-dyed cotton threads that we like to use. You'll be able to choose your own color preferences. You'll be able to choose and take home the threads you'd like to continue working with for your embroidery.
This class includes a small snack.
