Adorable lily-inspired hand-embroidered earrings made by the collective Mujeres de Maíz from Santiago Atitlán. Each pair is absolutely one of a kind!
The town Santiago Atitlán is known for traditional bird embroidery usually featured on women's huipiles and men's pants. The local collective has taken this tradition and applied it in a new way. We are absolutely in love with these earrings!
Embroidery thread used is a cotton blend, and on top of commercial felt. This piece sweetly incorporates beads into the design.
