A work of art hand-stitched by our partner embroideresses in Sumpango! The designs are traditional, usually those that adorn the neckline of a hand-embroidered huipil from the same town.
This bag represents a collaboration among the artisan groups we love to work with: the cotton threads were dyed by our partners at Lake Atitlán, and the canvas tote by Creamos in Guatemala City.
Want to learn how to embroider one yourself? Join our embroidery class with Claribel, held online and in-person in Antigua!
Please note that each tote varies slightly, but are made with same or similar colors.
