Do these earrings remind you of anything? Maybe a very special fruit, commonly found in Santiago Atitlán, where the earrings were made?
Image of a hand-embroidered pitaya patch
Pitaya -- or dragonfruit -- is the beauty replicated here in beadwork form. We are absolutely in love with this creation, and applaud the collective Mujeres de Maíz for their creativity.
This was an original design made by the group, and we've created a colorful collection based on these Pitaya earrings.
