Huipil 47: Tactic

This is a pre-loved traditional huipil being sold by the weaver herself. The three-panel style each handwoven with four selvages is typical of Tactic, Alta Verapaz, and makes for easy and beautiful wearing paired with high-waisted bottoms. All four selvages are meticulously finished on the loom, showing excellent mastery by the weaver.

The red base makes this huipil really pop! Figures include paw prints (dog), birds, women, and more. 

The neck opening is large enough for comfortable wearing. We think this piece fits like size M. Please note that the traditional style from this region is short; we recommend wearing over a camisole.

Care: Gentle machine cycle and line dry inside out. Colors will not bleed as the piece has been washed many times.
