//Sourced by Mari// I was impressed by the use of new jaspe-filled traditional Santiago Atitlán corte fabric used for this men's top. Santiago is known for intricate jaspe (ikat) patterns woven on wooden pedal looms, and the red is most traditional of the hues used.
I'll admit, the shirt was a little dusty in Doña Petronila's stall. But good thing she kept it inside out -- so any fading from the sun would show effect on the inside of the shirt (where it doesn't matter) and not the outside. I've washed this piece since, and it is now looking for a home all clean.
We think this button-up shirt fits like US size M.
