Indigo-Dipped Handspun Cotton Earrings
Hand-dipped indigo collaboration with Mysa Fine Crafts 💙 We took the gorgeous organic cotton handspun by Doña Marta at Lake Atitlán to our silversmith partner Santos, who turned them into tassel earrings. But we didn't stop there - what started as a fun quarantine activity for four friends in Antigua turned out so beautiful, we decided to turn the indigo-dipped earrings into a proper collaboration offering.
Get to know Abigail and her story, starting her indigo exploration during the 2020 pandemic in Guatemala. A unique time, to be sure.
Choose between the lighter indigo hue achieved through the Panela vat (sugar) or the darker hue from the Iron vat, both cared for personally by Abigail from Mysa. Each pair has been carefully hand-dipped by Abigail herself, and she's got the blue hands to prove it.
3.75 inches long locally-grown organic white cotton, handspun. All metal accents are sterling silver, crafted also by hand.
This item ships from Guatemala.
