When our partner weavers from Momostenango showed us this piece, I (Mari speaking here) knew it was special. Just take a look at all the cheerful colors! Imagine wrapping yourself up in not only warmth, but also joy that comes with color.

This piece has been felted, which means that the blanket is sturdy and meant for lasting use. When the fibers are felted together, it makes the textile more resistant. We hope this blanket can keep you and your loved ones cozy for many years to come.

Wool products represent a significant source of income for Momostenango. From caring for the sheep, shearing, cleaning, spinning... all the way to weaving and then felting and teasing... it is all hard work, and a tradition that we hope continues in the town.

100% local wool for both warp and weft.

Measurements: 

75 inches wide, 47 inches long plus 2.5 inches of fringes.
