Centerpiece 16

//A new Artisan Direct listing from Fernando in Chichicastengo!//

This is truly a vintage textile treasure, a collector's dream! The gorgeous "huipil turned into a centerpiece" features traditional brocade motifs from San Juan Cotzal including birds, corn, and geometric figures in an elegant rayon floss.

The size and richness of this small centerpiece make it great for decorating all sorts of special places around the house. Under a candle, make a little altar of those important items, at the center of a small table.

Fernando and his family have a small textile treasure store in their hometown, a place filled with the most beautiful items imaginable. Currently, because of the lasting effects COVID-19 restrictions both nationally and internationally, they have not had many local sales. Thus, the listing of some of the treasures on our site here on our Artisan Direct page.
