This is a ready-to-be-shipped tote bag made with our favorite Stars in the Sky indigo ikat textile outside, and a pericón-dyed textile inside. Pericón is a local plant used as a dye and, more commonly, for tea, especially for upset stomach. Medicinal AND beautiful!
The Quetzal Tote is one of Kakaw's first bag designs, and it continues to be a practical and beautiful favorite. We love altering the textiles used, always combining with genuine leather and high-quality metal parts for a durable and luxurious feel. Comes with a leather inner pocket with a zipper for securing valuables as well as two textile pockets, and a leather strap for hooking on your keys.
Our talented leathersmith partner, Walfre, carefully constructs each bag as his workshop. His attention to detail is noticeable with every piece.
