This backstrap-woven cotton wrap scarf is full of luxurious ikat patterns. Naturally-dyed in two separate layers; first, the cotton yarns are dyed in cúrcuma, or turmeric. After the ikat knots are placed on the warp, it is then again dyed in natural indigo. The process reveals the dye-resist (ikat) pattern when the knots are removed and the yarns are finally placed on a backstrap loom in order for weaving.
