Handspun Multifunctional Home Cloth

This luxurious home textile uses 100% local organic white cotton (both warp and weft on a backstrap loom). We developed this organic cloth with babies in mind - as Mari was having her child and looking for soft and organic options for her little one’s care. The hand-spun fibers make it soft and absorbent, and its nubbly texture makes it an excellent addition to any area in your home or office. For example, we like to use it under our computers as a tactile relief from our technology tools, or as an elevated no-waste wrapping paper option. The size and weight also make this a lovely lap cover while doing handwork such as embroidery, and still soft enough to be a special addition to any nursery. The creamy color is un-dyed and from the pure fibers of the plant in its natural state, we think it is just beautiful.

Made by our partner artisan family at Lake Atitlán that grows, harvests, and processes the cotton themselves. They are even starting to grow their own indigo! Talented hands at work in this eco-conscious slow production chain.
