Mini Messenger in Indigo or Cochineal

Our new Mini version of our Messenger is great for the times when you just don't need to carry much. It's light, it's practical with three inner pockets, and it's easy. Just pack your Mini Messenger with the minimal essentials, and you're set to go. 

The outer textile features a handwoven and naturally-dyed textile with little ikat. The warp threads have first been tied with knots that serve as dye-resist, so when the thread is dyed, the tied parts remain without color. This is done in natural indigo and natural cochineal. The warp is then set up on a pedal loom, where weavers from our partner cooperative at Lake Atitlán weave the warp-faced design. We love this simple and yet powerful design with little ikat patterns, they remind us of Stars in the Sky and Bougainvillea Flowers, both so prominent and beautiful in Guatemala.

The inner lining also features naturally-dyed and handwoven textiles, providing a nice contrast between the outer and inner hues. There is a small leather latch for attaching keys inside. The crossbody buckle is adjustable, as is the closing flap of the bag. Made with only naturally-dyed and handwoven textiles and genuine local leather.
