Tz'ot Dress in Indigo

//This is a one-of-a-kind handwoven dress from our partner weavers in Cobán that we have dyed in a natural indigo vat.//

What a gorgeous gem this piece is, handwoven with delicately with the traditional "tzot" stripes in white cotton and then dyed in a natural indigo vat by hand.  Note that Margarita created this piece to purposefully show off the loose "ends" of the supplementary weft threads inserted to create the "tz'ot" lines. It is meant to be worn with the loose threads outside.

This newly-woven dress has a flattering V-neck from the natural seam created by the two panels. Wear the gauze-like beauty as-is or style with a belt.

It takes at least one month to weave the two long panels and combine them with hand-stitching to create one dress. Natural indigo is organically grown in El Salvador, and the dyeing was done by Abigail from Mysa at Lake Atitlán and in Antigua. Handmade every step of the way.

We think this dress fits like US sizes S and M.
