Sold Out $85.00
Looking for a distressed classic indigo look? This navy blue corte is full of both warp and weft ikat, with added sparks of colorful strips in the weft. The weave is lightweight with soft cotton, giving a lovely drape.
This piece is still in the original "loop" form as a wrap skirt. We think this would be great for a sewing project!
The word "tinta" refers to the blue used for the "jaspe," or ikat-filled, cortes. Traditionally, this blue came from natural indigo. This piece may have been dyed with synthetic indigo, but not natural indigo anymore.
