Summer Cardigan Deep Indigo + Light Indigo (M)
This is a one-of-a-kind variety of our handwoven breezy picbil cardigan in a light-weight weave with delicate cotton thread. The two shades used for this piece come from natural indigo. All the thread has been dyed by our partner artisans at Lake Atitlán, then taken to our partner weavers over near Cobán, Guatemala, for the fine traditional picbil weave.
There are only four women who have mastered this delicate design from the group of weavers, making the Cardigan extra special. It is a labor-intensive process that takes each weaver 4-6 weeks to complete a single cardigan on the backstrap loom.
Wear it layered over a simple tank top in the summer or over a long-sleeve shirt in the winter. Flows beautifully when worn open. Also beautiful with an accent belt.
This piece fits loosely like US size M.
