Summer Cardigan Café Tostado + Logwood & Grey (M)
$150.00
//This is a one-of-a-kind work of art.//
This is a unique color variety of our handwoven breezy picbil cardigan in a light weight weave with delicate cotton thread. The colors of this piece come from local plants, including coffee beans that were not suitable for human consumption. All the thread has been dyed by our partner artisans at Lake Atitlán, then taken to our partner weavers over near Cobán, Guatemala, for the fine traditional picbil weave.
There are only four women from the cooperative who have mastered this delicate design, making the Cardigan extra special. It is a labor-intensive process that takes each weaver 4-6 weeks to complete a single cardigan, from start to finish.
Wear it layered over a simple tank top in the summer, or long-sleeve blouses in the winter. Flows beautifully when worn open. Also beautiful with an accent belt.
This piece fits like US size M.
