Small Wool Rug in Coffee Leaves
This small rug was handwoven on a footloom in Momostenango with natural local wool. The warp is cotton, the weft is hand-processed and hand-spun wool. The rug was made with the best white wool available, and has been dyed in local fresh coffee leaves at Lake Atitlán.
It's so magical to work with natural dyes, what a surprise to see such a joyful orange emerge from green leaves.
We love this small rug size for areas like in bathrooms, in front of doors, or wherever you'd like to add some warmth both aesthetically and physically for your feet.
