Pouches 8: Fire
A bundle of three adorable pouches in one-of-a-kind variations made with new backstrap-woven textiles. The traditional brocade patterns from San Juan Cotzal are shown beautifully in these pieces. Each figure was handwoven for the explicitly for making products (such as these pouches) by the cooperative of weavers from that same town, in the Ixil Triangle region. This is a remote area, and these sales allow the weavers to continue weaving from home on their backstrap looms.
Medium pouch: 7 inches wide, 4.5 inches long
Small pouch: 5 inches wide, 4 inches long
Circle pouch: 4 inches in diameter, 1 inch deep
