Huipil 50: Tactic

This is a pre-loved traditional huipil being sold by the weaver herself in a cheerful pink base. This piece is unusual in that it has been constructed with only two panels, not three as is the region's norm. We think it makes for easy and beautiful wearing paired with high-waisted bottoms. 

Who knew so many colors would go so well together? We love the color combination for this huipil. Brocaded figures flowers, crabs, corn, and more.

Handwoven and being sold by Irma.

The neck opening is large enough for comfortable wearing. We think this piece fits like size S/M.

Material: Mostly cotton, a bit of rayon floss.

Care: Gentle machine cycle inside out and line dry. Colors will not bleed as the piece has been washed many times.
