Classic envelope clutch shape featuring traditional handwoven brocade textile from Tecpán with modern colors incorporated. The intricate geometric shapes and the floral patterns are woven on a backstrap loom with single-side supplementary weft brocade, using many different colors of thread at a time. Floral patterns like these were first inspired by European cross stitch patterns, but since then have become part of traditional designs in this town.
Inside has two pockets, the closing is a magnet. Back and the flap are genuine leather. Inner lining is naturally-dyed, handwoven textile produced by our partner weavers at Lake Atitlán.
