This Crossbody combines handmade beauty with utility, in a naturally-dyed and handwoven new textile made by our partner weavers at Lake Atitlán. The textile uses two different strength of naturally-dyed indigo, along with a turmeric blend for the yellow. The chevron designs are created by making knots in the thread during the dyeing process, a technique known locally as "jaspe" and in English as "ikat."
Biking around town? No problem. Bundled up with all the winter layers? No problem. Take a Crossbody and go.
The inner lining is a naturally-dyed indigo footloom fabric with a tinge of green. The inside comes with three textile pockets and a leather strap for hooking on your keys.
