Sold Out $120.00
A handwoven new huipil in the traditional style from the town of Tamahú. The weavers from Cobán wove this piece with cotton thread on a backstrap loom with the loose "calado" weave and brocade geometric shapes. The three-panel contrast between the red and white make this piece special.
Note that all selvedges are cleanly finished, a feat only achieved by master weavers with great patience.
