Online Loom Set-Up Class with Doña Lidia / October 17th, 11am-12noon (2020)
A special one-hour class by request! Join us for a one-hour introductory class on how to set up a backstrap loom, including warping and setting up the heddles, taught by master weaver Doña Lidia from San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
Doña Lidia has been teaching backstrap weaving nationally and internationally for many years. She is a wealth of knowledge and a patient teacher with experience teaching in English.
This class will be held via Zoom on Saturday, October 17th, 11am - 12 noon Guatemala time from Doña Lidia's home. This is a special topic session suitable for weavers interested in the details of backstrap weaving. An email with more details will be sent a few days before the class, including the Zoom meeting invitation. The class will be recorded and shared privately, so participants will be able to go back and review the material at their leisure.
