This is a beautiful one-panel textile handwoven on a backstrap loom by a cooperative of weavers at San Juan Cotzal. The finishing with the delicate fringes makes this piece great for decoration tables for dinner parties, or anywhere around the house that could use a colorful addition. Learn about the meaning behind these traditional brocade symbols in this blog post.

Made new, the sale of these pieces created by the cooperative benefit the group directly. The maroon background as well as the traditional brocade figures are made with cotton thread.

Length:  22 Inches plus 3 inches of fringes and pompons on each side

Care: Wash by hand in cold water separately, lay flat to dry.
