This brocade-filled table runner was handwoven on a backstrap loom by a cooperative of weavers in San Juan Cotzal, up in the Ixil region. We also think this piece could easily be used as a scarf or for other decoration. The bold central brocade designs contrast nicely with the navy blue background in an unusual pattern. The large geometric shapes make this piece a wonderful statement piece at home. The material is a rayon blend, so there is a nice weight and soft structure to the textile. The macramé ends add a beautiful touch.
Measurements:
Width: 11.5 inches
Length: 55 inches plus 3.5 inches of macramé fringes on each side
