Make Your Own Necklace Kit

All natural and local materials make this kit extra special for an activity at home. It is complete with:

- Handspun local organic cotton yarn in natural white, heirloom ixcaco brown, and white dyed in natural indigo (3m each). Prepared by our friend Dominga at Lake Atitlán.

- 3 hand-carved jade "donut" beads prepared by Santos in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. Each measures about half an inch in diameter.

The yarn can be braided, left loose, crocheted, whatever inspires you! Use all three colors or choose one; add tassels for fun or leave simple and elegant -- all up to you.

Enjoy getting creative! Choose from Light and Dark Jade Kits. The Light version includes a lilac jade bead, and the Dark version includes two black jade beads. Both are cherished jade varieties found in Guatemala.
