Learn how to make traditional pompoms with Chato, our master pompom maker,  in our central Antigua studio garden!  We will have a variety of beautifully naturally-dyed cotton yarns to work with, and we'll go step-by-step from thread to pompom.

This two-hour class includes all materials as well as a light snack and a PDF guide with pre-recorded videos and images for you to look back on after class. The PDF guide access will be automatically sent to you to the provided email upon the purchase of this product.

Traditionally, pompoms of this style are attached to the ends of headdresses in the small highland town of Chajul, and are used to adorn women's hair with bursts of color. They hang beautifully and are just so darn adorable.

This class is appropriate for adults and children working together with adults. Join the fun as a family if you'd like!
