Have you been wanting to get into the nitty gritty details of backstrap weaving? Spend a week learning from master sister weavers Doña Lidia, Doña Zoila, and Doña Blandina from San Antonio Aguas Calientes! 

Happening June 2024:

Monday, 24th: Introduction and warping at Doña Lidia's home in San Antonio Aguas Calientes. This is all-day and includes a home-cooked meal.

Tuesday, 25th: Set up your loom in our central Antigua studio garden. Morning only.

Wednesday, 26th: Continue to set up your loom and/or practice plain weave. Morning only.

Thursday, 27th: Advance at your own pace! Plain weave? Brocade? Up to you! Morning only.

Friday, 28th: 

Advance at your own pace! Plain weave? Brocade? Up to you! Morning instruction, lunch together with teachers in town.

This is a small-group offer for personalized attention! Min 2 pax / Max 4 pax.
$625 per person. 

What's included? 5 days of instruction with all materials and snacks. Two lunches also included, as well as transport to and from Antigua and San Antonio Aguas Calientes. This is a workshop-only package.

We include a printed Antigua Guide with our favorite restaurants and stores for you to explore on your own. If you would like further assistance with recommendations on where to stay, etc. please book a call with Mari. 

NOTES: Exact itinerary details will follow via email. Morning instruction from 10am-1pm at our central Antigua studio. Instruction will be in Spanish and English. This is an excellent opportunity to practice your Spanish! The remainder of the payment is due on March 1st, 2024.
