Small Wool Rug in Pericón Gradient 2

//A new one-of-a-kind naturally-dyed rug!//

This small rug was handwoven on a foot loom in Momostenango with natural local wool. The warp is cotton, the weft is hand-processed and hand-spun wool. The rug was made with the best white wool available and has been dyed in a natural pericón vat at Lake Atitlán to achieve the subtle gradient effect.

We love the bright colors from pericón, and we hope this item helps to brighten up your home and spirit. It works great in small areas like in bathrooms, in front of doors, or wherever you'd like to add some warmth both aesthetically and physically for your feet.

Sometimes there are grass and thistle pieces stuck to the fibers. This is an element of the handmade process - and part of the fun!

Care:

Machine-washable in a gentle cycle or wool cycle in cold water with gentle detergent. Line dry.

See our blog post for how to minimize washing wool rugs.

For best color protection, use in indirect sunlight as natural dyes will fade with direct sunlight exposure.

Measurements:

Width: 15 inches

Length: 28 inches
