//This is a one-on-one in-person outdoor weaving class for learning the traditional Maya Kaqchikel warping method. Price includes all materials to warp and finish preparing your own small loom (the size of our Brocade Practice Looms) as well as three hours of instruction. Held at our studio garden in central Antigua; Spanish, English, and Kaqchikel instruction are possible by Doña Lidia. COVID safety protocols are observed and the exact address will be shared upon registering. We love one-on-one weaving sessions! This three-hour class includes all materials to warp and make your own small loom to continue weaving. Please note that all three hours will likely be dedicated to to the warping and setting up of the loom - if you'd like to receive a class on weaving, please let us know to schedule that for another day. 

Doña Lidia is from San Antonio Aguas Calientes and has been teaching backstrap weaving nationally and internationally for several decades. She is a wealth of knowledge and a patient teacher with experience teaching in English. 

We recommend morning instruction to avoid harsh sun and rain.

This session includes a small snack.
