This newly-woven table runner was created on a backstrap loom by master weaver Doña Lidia López, the wonderful backstrap weaving teacher for the online classes we offer.
The central portion, the parrot with flowers, is woven with the advanced double-sided brocade technique. We love how the parrot is framed with both warp stripes and weft borders in pepenado lines. We think the chosen colors are warm and especially appealing for home decor use.
Ideas for use: on a table or on top of your favorite surface, or as a wall hanging.
Material: Cotton
Care: Wash by hand in cold water and hang or lay flat to dry.
Measurements:
Width: 18.5 inches
Length: 48 inches plus 3 inches of twisted fringes on both ends
