A beautiful new handwoven cotton blouse made with two panels handwoven on a backstrap loom by our partner weavers up in Cobán. This blouse uses a rayon blend for the weave, giving the piece a lovely drape. It is embellished with floral embroidery full of French knots on the neckline and sleeves.
Note that both handwoven panels have four clean selvedge ends, a technically challenging feat that is laborious. The end results in structurally strong textiles that reduces waste as all panels are used to their fullest.
This blouse fits like US sizes S and M.
